Wasabi peanuts, an amazing combo!

Gah, the appeal of missing work for a few days and needing to buy new undies or wash some by hand is quickly depressing me. Where's the glamorous life I planned? Awful nights sleep in a strange bed and had some bad news about a lovely friend who I was hoping to visit before she left this world for a better place. Sleep sweetly Sarah x

So, to shop or not to shop? I suppose I'm in no rush so might have a few hours of reading all alone in complete silence - ah bliss! Wait! Silly me! I'm not alone!

Hello wasabi peanuts! My love of wasabi stems from a very lethal sushi addiction. Although I usually mix it with soy to soften the nose itching burn that's commonly associated with wasabi, I find these wasabi peanuts an absolute delight. They are even better at the moment because I have a touch of flu and so am being cleared out from the inside! Graphic imagery there!

A shiny fresh manicure to make being a volcanic ash victim manageable

Even when your hair is a mess and you've no makeup on, you can feel so feminine with lovely nails and a pink phone cover! FWIW, I'm neither girly or pink but sometimes you just need a little boost!

My husband and I are currently stuck in Northern Ireland. We visit friends fairly often, arriving on Friday evening and travelling home on Sunday! It seems Mount Eyjafjallajökull had other plans for us! Ah well, not only do we get to spend more time with friends, but we get a few nights away in a nice hotel courtesy of Oli's work Amex, ok he has to work from the Belfast office but I get to go shopping.

I'm sick of my clothes and my style. I feel less stylish than I deserve! I should be able to feel and look more stylish and seeing as I have a new career starting soon this is the perfect opportunity for me to change the way I dress. I need to lose weight but I've used that as an excuse to not buy clothes for sooooo long! I will buy lovely clothes that fit me as I am, then as I lose weight I can either alter them or donate them to a good cause.

I'm going to buy two carry on cases or a case to put in the hold and fill it full of treasures :) I'm so excited. I'm going to have to look for inspiration on the web. I'm limited to office wear but I'm sure I cab get a few choice pieces to wear out and make me feel like a goddess. Lol! Xxxxx
